Classic Bacon and Eggs

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Lay the bacon in a cold skillet and cook over medium heat until crisp.
  2. Drain the bacon and pour off most of the fat.
  3. Fry the eggs in the bacon fat to your preferred doneness.
  4. Toast and butter the bread and serve alongside the bacon and eggs.
