Pan-Seared Salmon with Dill

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Method

  1. Pat the salmon dry and season the skin side well with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear skin-side down in hot oil for five minutes until the skin is crisp.
  3. Flip and cook for two more minutes, then add the butter, garlic, and dill.
  4. Spoon the foaming butter over the fillets and finish with lemon juice.
