Carne Asada Street Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs skirt steak
  • 0.33 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 white onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Method

  1. Marinate the steak in orange juice, lime juice, garlic, and salt for at least thirty minutes.
  2. Grill the steak over high heat for three minutes per side until well charred.
  3. Rest the steak, then chop it into small bite-sized pieces.
  4. Warm the tortillas and fill with the steak, diced onion, and cilantro.
